Are You Pursuing Your Passion? – Impulse Training

Are You Pursuing Your Passion?

Kristin Potts | May 16, 2017

Have you ever felt like you’re just living an average life? Like you’re not really doing what you were born to do? Well, you’re not alone. In July of 2016, a study was done that showed that only about half of U.S. workers said they felt satisfied with their job. Dissatisfaction with your job/career will eventually lead to burnout, and you will end up wondering how in the world you ended up being so unsatisfied with life.

I feel incredibly blessed to have already discovered my passion at my age, and to have an amazing job where I get to live out that passion every day. Being a trainer and motivating people to live healthy lives and be the best version of themselves motivates me. I love seeing clients achieve goals and be successful. I love being part of that moment when they lose that first 10 pounds or do their first push-up on their toes. I have seen how much people’s demeanor and attitude can change when they choose to take control of their life and take care of themselves.

What about you? What drives you? Are you passionate about what you do on a daily basis or do you drag your feet when you think about it? God created you for something great, not something mediocre. And so I encourage you, find your passion, learn what motivates you, and then pursue it with everything you have. No, it won’t always be easy, but it will be worth it. And along the way, choose to live a healthy, active lifestyle so you can be the best version of yourself and live your life to its greatest potential.

“You weren’t born just to live a life and to die; you were born to accomplish something specifically. Matter of fact, success is making it to the end of your purpose; that is success… Success is not just existing. Success is making it to the end of why you were born.”- Myles Munroe
